Engineering – This engineering internship will provide assistance to the corporate engineering staff out of Omaha, NE to assist at one of our soy processing, oil refinery, methyl ester, or ethanol facilities located throughout Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri and Minnesota. Duties included are: Oversee projects being constructed at the facility to ensure proper installation; communicate with contractors and vendors to keep projects moving efficiently; communicate verbally and in writing with management concerning progress of projects; and operational, maintenance, and safety protocols.

 Qualifications:

• Completion of sophomore or junior year coursework in a technical field (Mechanical,  Chemical, Civil, Industrial, or Ag-Engineering are preferred)

• Available to work a minimum of 10 weeks during May, June, July and August

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, as well as technical and analytical skills

• Ability to work as part of a construction/engineering team in a professional manner

• Travel required to various AGP facilities

• A desire to pursue a future career in grain processing construction/engineering

• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
