Operations - This internship will provide assistance to the operations staff at one of our soy processing, corn ethanol, methyl ester or vegetable oil refining facilities where students will gain hands-on experience working on various projects.  Projects may include designing and upgrading current systems, solving process related problems, assisting with capital and expense projects, assisting with environmental and safety related compliance programs, and performing various other functions. 

Qualifications:

• Completion of sophomore or junior year in a technical engineering field such as Mechanical, Chemical or Ag Engineering preferred

• Available to work 10 weeks during May, June, July and August

• Good oral and written communication skills

• Mechanical aptitude

• Ability to work as part of a production team

• A desire to pursue a future career in grain and vegetable oil processing operations
